Being involved in corporate entertainment is not as easy as most people might think, especially when it comes down to sourcing a great corporate band or function band. The main problem occurs as there seems to be a total lack of professional acts that can perform live and to the standard required.

For an event to be a success it will come down to careful planning. However, there is always one element that is taken out of the organisers hands, which generally tends to be the entertainment. This is why there are literally a handful of bands within this level of the business that appear time and time again on the corporate circuit and generally command a premium price for it. At this level no one can run risk of trying out an untested group.

If you think about it, the whole week has been carefully planned. There have been briefs and meetings, themes agreed, structured with consideration to all aspect of sound, lighting and video. The catering has been meticulously prepared. The whole event is running to plan and everyone is ready to let their hair down for the highlight of the event.
